The Golden State Warriors will name Hawks assistant Eric Musselman as their head coach, NBA sources told ESPN's David Aldridge on Wednesday.

The sources say Musselman will receive a deal worth between $4.5 million and $5 million over three years. There was no word Wednesday night on when the announcement would be made.

Musselman has spent past two years as an assistant with the Hawks after spending two seasons in Orlando.

Musselman, who spent seven years as a head coach in the CBA, is the son of the late Timberwolves coach Bill Musselman.
