What has become of Jason Williams?  The starting Grizzlies guard has had a reputation in his short career of being selfish and out of control, albeit exciting.

But since Hubie Brown took over the reigns in Memphis it has been Williams who has become a new player.  Two two seem to have connected, and the results have everyone in Memphis suprised.

"It's hard to explain," said Jerry West. "It's like a love affair."

Geoff Calkins of the Memphis Commerical Appeal reports that Williams has been poised and unselfish.  A player originally brought in as a draw for the fans has turned into a leader at both ends of the court.  But Brown isn't suprised at his guard's talents.

"He runs the stuff and then he has the courage to take the big shots."
