Roman Modrowski of the Chicago Sun-Times reports: Tyson Chandler has finally found the source of his season-long stomach pain.

After the pain got so bad that he had to pull over his car to the side of the road, Chandler decided to have his stomach checked out.

Originally, he thought it was pain associated with a heart condition but that wasn't the cause of the problem.

It turns out that he has an ulcer in his esophagus, which is the tube that connects your mouth to your stomach.

Chandler is doubtful for tonight's game against Seattle.

''If you can imagine, when you fall and get an abrasion on your skin, it hurts,'' Bulls trainer Fred Tedeschi said. ''If you can imagine an abrasion like that on the inside, every time you eat or drink, you get some level of pain with that.

''That's what he's been dealing with. Give him all the credit in the world. He hasn't complained a whole lot.''

''It's intensified in the last five days,'' Tedeschi said. ''He's been taking medication, and it hasn't helped a great deal.

''[Monday] morning, he underwent a gastroscope that found he has a little bit of an ulcer in his esophagus, which is the tube that connects your mouth to your stomach. Hopefully, that will heal quickly. We'll know [today] about his status for [tonight's] game. Medication and a bland diet are all we can do right now.''
