The court case that won't go away could find some resolution soon --- unless it is delayed, again.

Hawks forward Glenn Robinson is scheduled to appear in a Markham, Ill., courthouse today at 9 a.m., where a jury trial is expected to begin regarding his domestic violence and gun possession charges from last summer.

Robinson was charged with misdemeanor counts of domestic battery, assault and unlawful possession of a firearm. Prosecutors allege that on July 20 a drunken Robinson threatened and pushed Jonta French, his ex-fiancee and mother of his daughter, and demanded to be let into her suburban Chicago house to find a pistol he had left there.

If convicted, Robinson could face up to a year in prison.
