Day one of Kobe Bryant's pliminary hearing unveiled some very graphic details about the accusions made against him.

It was actually a surprise to many legal experts that the defense did not waive the hearing and move straight to an arraignment where Bryant would have plead not guilty.

"Eagle County Sheriff's Det. Doug Winters, testified Thursday that the 19-year-old resort worker accusing Kobe Bryant of rape told police that the Laker star placed his arms around her neck and forced her to have sex, despite her protests and tears."

However, it was revealed that "Bryant's accuser went willingly to Bryant's room late at night, sneaking through the hotel kitchen to get there. And testimony indicated that there were no bruises or marks on the woman's neck or shoulders a day after the encounter."

The hearing lasted five hours without a decision on whether Bryant will stand trial on a felony sexual assault charge.

Eagle County Judge Frederick Gannett ordered the hearing to resume on Wednesday.
