PHOENIX (AP) The Phoenix Suns placed top draft choice Zarko Cabarkapa on the injured list Friday with a broken right wrist and activated 6-foot-11 forward Robert Archibald.

Cabarkapa was expected to be out six to eight weeks after being injured in Wednesday night's game against Dallas when he was shoved to the floor by Danny Fortson while driving toward the basket. Fortson was charged with a flagrant foul and was suspended by the NBA for three games without pay on Friday.

The 6-foot-11 forward from Serbia and Montenegro was averaging 6.5 points and 3.4 rebounds while shooting .500 from the field in 11 games.

Archibald, acquired from Memphis in a Sept. 30 trade, has not played this season. He has been out with a sprained toe on his left foot.

In addition to being without Cabarkapa, the Suns were short-handed at small forward for Friday's game against Golden State, because Shawn Marion missed his second straight game with a left ankle sprain.
