The Detroit Pistons thrive on being a physical, defensive oriented team yet in Game 3 against the New Jersey Nets they were not allowed to play their style according to point guard Chaucey Billups.  The reason?  They carry whistles and wear black and white.

"I kind of felt like they (the officials) let them be more physical than us, for whatever reason," Billups said after the loss. "We're the physical team. That's how we play. That's who we are. But they didn't let us do that."
