When Jason Kidd gets rolling, the rest of the Nets aren't far behind. Fueled by Kidd's triple double, New Jersey beat Detroit 94-79 to even up their series at 2 games apiece. Game 5 is scheduled to be played in Detroit on May 14th.

After he made his 4th shot in a row, Nets' head coach Lawrence Frank quietly pumped his fist and knew there was no stopping his team that game. For all the talk about what Kidd contributes to his team without scoring, the Nets are not complete until he is in control of the game. And in the second half Tuesday night, Kidd finally found his scoring touch in this series.

Kidd finished with 22 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds, his fifth postseason triple-double as a Net and seventh over all in the postseason.
