On Thursday night, the Nets will have their franchise?s first-ever Game 7 in the NBA playoffs.

The perception and the smart money says the Nets will fail.

But the Nets truly believe in themselves when no one else does, and this is a squad whose talent and performance under pressure cannot be underestimated.

"We have a confident group. This is group that will not be counted out, will not allow anyone to count them out," said head coach Lawrence Frank.

Even with momentum and the homecourt in the Pistons? favor, the Nets have the best player in the series in Jason Kidd.

"We just have to play the best four quarters of our life Thursday," said Kidd.

Thursday night will mark a defining moment of the Kidd era in New Jersey.
