With one of their ?big three? now in Denver sleeping on a big pile of money, the Nets are reeling to find someone to replace him.

Some of the low-cost replacements the Nets have been looking at include:  Tractor Traylor of New Orleans and Rodney White of Denver. Eric Williams of Cleveland is a three-four type they like.  Shareef Abdur-Rahim makes the most sense. But also, the most money, so forget him.

The Nets have also met with free agents, Jacque Vaughn, and swingman Rodney Buford.

Let us not forget that the Nets have a very talented forward, Washington native Brian Scalabrine, who continues to improve season by season, showing what he is capable of in the playoffs versus the Pistons.  And in one game going for 18 to lead the Nets in an overtime win.

In addition the Nets are also looking for another coach to join their staff.  Candidates include:  Jim Cleamons, formerly of Phil Jackson's staff, ex-player Grant Long, former Bulls head coach Bill Cartwright and ex-Sixer head coach Randy Ayers (also drawing interest from Detroit) are vying for the final spot with Lawrence Frank, whose option has been picked up. He already has hired John Kuester from the world champion Pistons. Kuester joins Brian Hill and Tom Barrise.

With all the changes being made, why not do something wild and crazy, like say, moving to Brooklyn?
