Restricted free agent swingman Quentin Richardson and the Phoenix Suns have waited 14 days for the Los Angeles Clippers to decide whether or not to match their six-year, $42.6-million offer sheet.

Today, they will finally get an answer as the Clippers must decide today where Quentin Richardson will play next season.

The Suns and Richardson don't appear to have an idea as to what the Clippers will decide.

"At this point, we have no idea what the Clippers' ultimate decision will be," Bryan Colangelo, the Suns' general manager, said near the end of business Wednesday, later adding that he didn't suspect he'd know before today.

Asked Wednesday evening whether he had any idea where he might end up, Richardson said, "To be honest with you, I have no clue."
