Guard Mickael Pietrus is hoping to receive medical clearance to participate in full-contact practices when the team returns from its five-game road trip Tuesday.

Pietrus has stepped up his rehab from left shoulder surgery by doing some one-on-one and two-on-two work. He gave the Warriors a scare before the game when he tumbled to the court during a drill with rookie guard Luis Flores.

"He's a live one," assistant coach Keith Smart said.

"I'm getting anxious to play. I know I can give this team some energy," Pietrus said.
