The Milwaukee Bucks have signed free agent guard Kendall Gill to a contract. At the same time, the Bucks have placed center Daniel Santiago on the injured list with a right eye corneal abrasion.

?Kendall is a proven veteran who can come in and help us right away,? said GM Larry Harris. ?The depth on our roster has been effected by injuries, and we think that Kendall can be a productive player for us and help us restore some of our depth.?

A 14-year NBA veteran, Gill was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets with the 5th overall pick in the 1990 NBA Draft. In 952 career games, Gill has averaged 13.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. Last season with the Chicago Bulls, he averaged 9.6 points and 3.4 rebounds in 56 games. Milwaukee will be the seventh team Gill has played with in his career (Charlotte, Seattle, New Jersey, Miami, Minnesota and Chicago).
