Carmelo Anthony finished with 14 points in 29 minutes on Friday night in Miami, before leaving the contest late in the third quarter after missing a layup and landing on O'Neal's foot. He rolled his left ankle and remained down on the court for about two minutes before being helped to the locker room for X-rays, which revealed no break.

Anthony, who was on crutches after the game, said he doesn't expect to play Saturday in Orlando when Denver ends its seven-game road trip.

"I was kind of in shock at first. I was just getting over spraining the other ankle," Anthony said. "It's a little sore and tender right now. The doctor told me it will be day-to-day. ... It's not as bad as it might seem."
