Detroit coach Larry Brown saw an officiating conspiracy with Reggie Miller's shot in the final moments of Friday's game.

"Reggie made a great shot, an unbelievable shot, but tell me how he got that shot," Brown said. "Tell me how the space was cleared to get that shot."

The implication was that Miller pushed off.

Brown also was upset Indiana scored 12 of its last 16 points from the line.

"They got points without taking shots and making plays," Brown said. "I'd rather have them make plays than somebody inventing things for them."

Pacers' head coach Rick Carlisle wasn't happy with Brown's comments.

"I don't want to hear it. Not with the season we went through. Not with the way we've fought back. Officials are doing best they can. That's what I see.

"We're hanging on for dear life and we've got to hear how officials blew the game. Come on. I think it's ridiculous."

The Pacers are participating in the playoffs without Ron Artest, who was suspended for his role in a November brawl.
