The Chicago Tribune is reporting that Eddy Curry has agreed to undergo a physical examination by Atlanta Hawks doctors Thursday during his first free-agent stop.

The Bulls' center could not be reached for comment, but the source said after initially refusing an exam, Curry's representatives have relented.

Curry has an irregular heartbeat and was sidelined for three months while undergoing numerous tests.

The Hawks also are interested in the Bulls' Tyson Chandler, who might head to Atlanta for a visit later this week. If the Hawks' pursuit of Curry fizzles, Chandler could become a hot prospect for Atlanta.

Bulls general manager John Paxson has said the Bulls plan to match the highest offer Curry and Chandler receive. Both are restricted free agents.
