Indiana may make a decision based on the luxury tax and salary cap relief in the impending trade of Ron Artest.  This would give teams a chance to make an acceptable bid of expiring contracts, picks, etc.  The Pacers could pursue Latrell Sprewell to fill their need for a wing player if indeed they opt for a deal motivated by financial planning.
