Timberwolves guard Anthony Carter was arrested early Friday in downtown Minneapolis and booked into the Hennepin County jail on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Carter was spotted by a police officer making several driving violations shortly after 2 a.m. He was pulled over and failed a field sobriety test. A blood-alcohol test showed a level of .201, and Carter subsequently failed a breath test, registering a .17, more than twice the legal limit of .08.
