Memphis Grizzlies forward Lawrence Roberts underwent successful surgery on Monday to repair the lateral meniscus in his right knee.

The surgery was performed by orthopaedic physician Dr. Fred Azar at the Campbell Clinic. Roberts will miss the next four weeks of action and will be re-evaluated by the Grizzlies training staff and team physicians mid-January.

Roberts did not play in the Grizzlies last two games due to right knee pain. In 18 games this season, he averaged 6.7 points, 5.9 rebounds and 20.2 minutes.
