Bucks restricted free agent guard Charlie Bell visited Greek team Olympiakos last week and could choose to return to Europe, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Or he could accept a one-year qualifying offer from the Bucks, making him an unrestricted free agent next summer, or possibly agree to a multi-year deal with Milwaukee.

"We're still talking and a good dialogue is going on," Bucks general manager Larry Harris said on Tuesday. "I would say progress is being made, and hopefully something will be done soon.

"We're trying to financially get to a number where we both can be happy."

Harris said his preference is to have Bell, a restricted free agent, return with a multi-year deal rather than a one-year qualifying offer.

If Bell would come back for the $900,000 qualifying offer this season, it likely would be his final season with the Bucks.

According to published reports, Bell has received an offer of 2.5 million euros per year to join Olympiakos, which also has been interested in guard Sarunas Jasikevicius of the Golden State Warriors.
