Arizona Coach Lute Olson announced on Thursday that he is extending his leave of absence through the remainder of the season.

Olson, who requested the leave on November 6, cited family matters that required his attention.

The Wildcats visit Illinois on Saturday and Assistant Coach Kevin O'Neill will continue to fill in for Olson during the rest of the season.
