The top 10 teams in the ESPN/USA Today's men's basketball poll remain the same, with North Carolina holding the top spot for the third straight week.

The Tar Heels, now 9-0, received 24 of 31 first-place votes to lead the way. Unbeatens Memphis (8-0), Kansas (10-0), Georgetown (8-0) and Texas (10-0) all received a first-place vote to round out the top five.

North Carolina faces Nicholls State, UC Santa Barbara, Nevada, Valparaiso and Kent State before beginning conference play in January.

The second five were Washington State (9-0), Duke (9-0), UCLA (9-1), Pittsburgh (10-0) and Michigan State (9-1).
