Coach Sam Vincent would love to find rookie Jermareo Davidson some experience via the developmental league, but that might not happen this season.

Having coached in the NBDL, Vincent believes strongly it's a great opportunity for young players not getting off the bench on an NBA roster. Davidson was ticketed for a D-league assignment, but the team rescinded that decision when they made the 2-for-1 trade with Detroit that brought center Nazr Mohammed to the Bobcats.

Davidson isn't playing, but the Bobcats are sufficiently shorthanded that Vincent is reluctant to send him to the minors. Sean May and Adam Morrison are out for the season and Othella Harrington's knee problems meant he didn't accompany the team to New Jersey for Friday's game.
