Lakers' center Chris Mihm will have surgery on his right heel and remain on the shelf for four to six weeks, according to the Los Angeles Times.

His ankle has been operated on twice, and he has been held off the court since December due to a sore Achilles' tendon and bursitis in his right heel.

"We wanted to give Chris a shot to have an opportunity during this time and through the All-Star break to come back perhaps, but it looks like it's going to be a little bit longer for that," Coach Phil Jackson told the Times.
