Pistons' guard Richard Hamilton is certainly glad to see Michael Curry replace Flip Saunders as the team's coach.

"I was disappointed at the way Flip (Saunders) did things, that was the frustrating thing about it," Hamilton said.

He refused to get into specifics, but his displeasure was at times clear last season.

"I have always been happy," Hamilton said Wednesday. "I had a son (at the start of last season), which was one of the greatest times of my life. That was not a disappointment. Nothing off the court was a disappointment."

Curry might know exactly what Hamilton and the Pistons need.

"Players like to be challenged, and they want discipline, even if they fight at times," Curry said.
