Bulls' coach Vinny Del Negro wasn't sure whether or not he'd start rookie point guard Derrick Rose against Utah's Deron Williams on Friday night, but Rose appears excited to continue facing the game's best.

"But that's what you want," Rose said of facing Williams. "Come in and you're ready to learn, so you want to go against the best people. He and Chris Paul played a lot of minutes [in Las Vegas], so I played against him a lot."

Rose battled Jason Kidd earlier this week when Chicago took on Dallas.

"It's a great test for Derrick," Del Negro said. "Those are two of the best. Jason's a future Hall of Fame guy. Deron's not only one of the top guards but players in the league. The better the competition, the more you can play against those guys, the more you can pick up and learn a little bit."
