Bulls' guard Derrick Rose left the team's preseason finale in the first quarter with a hip injury Friday night, but is expected to be okay for the team's season opener on Tuesday night, the Associated Press is reporting.

"It's not a big deal at all," said Rose. "I could have played in the second half, but they told me to sit down."

Rose scored seven points in just over 6 minutes of play before he was hurt driving for a layup.  He finished the preseason second on the team in scoring with a 14.9 average.
