Heat coach Erik Spoelstra would like continue limiting Dwyane Wade's minutes by putting him on the bench at the start of the second and fourth quarters.

"I'd like to keep Dwyane's minutes to around 36 to 38 as long as we possibly can," Spoelstra said. "I think that's where he's most efficient, most explosive for his body type.

"I think you can get the most out of him from there."

Wade entered Friday's game against the Hawks averaging 36.8 minutes per game, placing him just 27th in the league.

"But, again," Spoelstra said, "that could change depending on how the season goes."
