Derrick Rose is a couple of inches shorter than Heat star Dwyane Wade, but with both possessing explosiveness and a willingness to get to the rim the comparisons between the two are natural.

But according the Daily Herald, Wade not only sees a lot of himself in the Bulls' rookie, but he believes that Rose is more athletic than himself.

"Derrick Rose, he's taken the league by storm with his athletic ability," Wade said. "I mean, he's one of the best penetrators, finishers, that the league has already. A game that's on ESPN, because of him and (Michael) Beasley, first and second pick - I'm sure he wants to live up to the hype. It's going to be a great challenge."

"I think he's a little more athletic than me," Wade said. "He's kind of like me when I came into the league. He's an attacker. He's a strong penetrator. He throws his body in there. He's a great finisher, as well. I think he's a little more athletic than I was in my rookie year, just how quick he gets off his feet and how high he jumps."
