The Lakers' Pau Gasol and Miami's Dwyane Wade were named February's players of the month, presented by Kia Motors, for their respective conferences on Tuesday.

Gasol led the Lakers to an 11-2 record in Feburary, highlighted by an impressive East Coast trip where the Lakers went undefeated after losing star center Andrew Bynum to a knee injury.  Gasol averaged 20.9 points in the month and was second in the conference in rebounds, averaging 10.9 per game - trailing only teammate Lamar Odom (13.4 rpg).

Wade led his conference in scoring (30.7 ppg), was second in assists (8.7 apg)  , and fourth in steals  with two a game.  His month was highlighted with a new career high on Feb. 22, when he dropped 50 on the Magic.
