Legendary center and mentor Kareem Abdul-Jabbar wants to see Andrew Bynum adjust to the increased intensity of playoff basketball.

"Playoff basketball is something he hasn't experienced and that certainly has its effect," Abdul-Jabbar said of Bynum. "Teams are targeting him now. He's getting the kind of attention probably that he's wanted to get all along, but he's got to adjust to it. I think it's all about him adjusting to the intensity and the ferocity of the playoffs. It's another step up."

Bynum had 14 points and 6 rebounds in 20 minutes during his team's Game 5 romp over the Rockets.

"He's found himself behind everybody, playing catch-up," Abdul-Jabbar said. "He's not exactly up to speed with where the team's at in terms of group consciousness. There's a lot to it."
