The 1992 Dream Team was inducted into the U.S. Olympic Committee's Hall of Fame on Wednesday.

The ceremony took place in Chicago as the city made a final push to kick up buzz about their bid for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.

Michael Jordan didn't attend the event, but did lend his support and name to the event.

"Everyone wants to see Michael. Being inducted into anything with Michael is a great honor for us but it's Michael, I guess that mystique is part of what makes him so appealing to everybody," said David Robinson, according to the Associated Press.
