Bulls center Joakim Noah wants to continue to work on his conditioning, which is already much better than it was two years ago.

"I feel like my conditioning is not 100 percent to where I want it to be," Noah said. "I'm feeling more comfortable on the court, but my running in transition can get better.

"(Derrick) Rose has been doing a lot of extra conditioning. Maybe I'll do some wind sprints with him after practice and get in that routine."

Noah has fond memories are jogging through Central Park with his father, tennis star Yannick Noah.

"When I was in high school, he used to wake me up in the morning sometimes and it was a good time to bond with him," Noah said. "My father is really busy, but I always remember him running and jogging and doing extra stuff. He took it pretty seriously."

In addition to improved conditioning, Noah is much more comfortable on offense.

"That came from a lot of hours in the gym this summer," Noah said. "And I think it's just confidence. I feel like I know I'm going to play regardless if I make a mistake or miss a shot.

"As a rookie, you tend to think a lot, like, 'OK, if I take this shot now and miss, I'm going to come out.' There are still things I have to do better. But I'm more confident."
