Lakers forward Luke Walton will fill in for radio color commentator Mychal Thompson for the team's two weekend games.

Walton has been out with a back injury after playing in the season's first nine games.

Thompson will miss Friday's game against the Timberwolves and Saturday's game against the Jazz because of a death in his family.
