Bucks forward Joe Alexander is getting close to the active roster.

Alexander hasn't played yet this season because of a right hamstring injury suffered in late September, shortly before training camp.

The second-year player went through a full-contact, five-on-five scrimmage on Thursday.

"He looked 100%," Milwaukee coach Scott Skiles said of Alexander. "He probably needs one more practice so everybody feels comfortable behind him."

The Bucks took Alexander with the eighth overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft.
