A close associate of Lakers coach Phil Jackson says that he'll coach somewhere next season, regardless of whether or not it happens to be in Los Angeles.

"The Lakers have not made Phil an offer," the Jackson source told HoopsHype. However, Jackson's close associate maintained that "Phil will coach somewhere next year."

Jackson won't take off the 2010-11 season because the following year could bring a lockout, according to the source.
