David and Travis Wear will transfer from North Carolina, according to a report in the Long Beach Press-Telegram.

According the story, the brothers' father said he discussed the decision with UNC coach Roy Williams on Wednesday night by telephone and that he hoped his sons would be released from their scholarship agreements with the school "as early as Thursday."

The Wear twins were expected to give North Carolina depth in the frontcourt.
