Derrick Favors will not have his minutes impacted by Troy Murphy's return, as the Nets will instead reduce the playing time of Kris Humphries and Joe Smith.

"This whole year is about Favors growing as an NBA player, so his minutes won?t be affected," Nets coach Avery Johnson said. "Whatever minutes he?s been getting, his minutes will stay the same."

Favors is the main component the Nets are offering to the Nuggets for Carmelo Anthony.
