Alex Oriakhi has seen his rebounding numbers decrease since Connecticut's success at the Maui Invitational in late November.

Oriakhi had 17 rebounds against Michigan State and 11 rebounds versus Kentucky in the Huskies' run to the Maui title.

In the last three games, Oriakhi, a 6-foot-9, 240-pound forward/center, has a total of 10 rebounds.

"We've had some time down here (Wednesday night), and then today we'll have some more time, to show him tape," coach Jim Calhoun said. "Just simply, he doesn't realize that he's not going after rebounds offensively like he did at some time.

"We're just trying the best we can in certain ways to try to relax him and try to get him to understand that he's a really good player. … He's putting pressure on himself."
