Chauncey Billups is aware that he could still be traded, despite New Jersey's decision to pull out of talks on a three-team deal with Denver and Detroit.

Billups was expected to be part of a blockbuster deal that would have sent Carmelo Anthony to the Nets.

Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov decided to end talks on Wednesday night after months of back-and-forth.

"It's not like the trade got called off because Denver said, 'We're out,' " Billups said. "It really wasn't at their discretion. It was something else. So it's pretty much the same to me. I'm fine, though."

Despite the fact that the Denver native doesn't want to leave the Nuggets, he complemented the team's front office.

"I'm fine, I'm good," Billups said. "I think Josh [Kroenke] and Masai [Ujiri] have done well. They've been put in a tough situation. I really empathize with them. They took over a tough job at a tough time."
