There were a number of clutch shots and game-winners in the NBA on Monday night.

Brook Lopez’s shot with roughly one second remaining gave the New Jersey Nets (13-32) a thrilling win over the Cleveland Cavaliers (8-36) on Monday night. Devin Harris had 14 points and 10 assists, Kris Humphries posted 11 points and 11 rebounds and Lopez added 28 points and seven boards. New Jersey forced 16 turnovers and shot 7-for-13 from three-point range. Antawn Jamison had 26 points and eight rebounds, Ramon Sessions tallied 16 points and six assists and Daniel Gibson contributed 19 points and five dimes.

The Detroit Pistons (17-28) used a strong second quarter to edge the Orlando Magic (29-16) at the Amway Center. Tayshaun Prince led with 20 points and six assists, Tracy McGrady tallied 20 points, seven rebounds and five dimes and Austin Daye put up 20 points and seven boards off the bench. Detroit turned the ball over just six times and held Orlando to 7-for-27 shooting from three-point land. Dwight Howard starred with 20 points and 16 rebounds, Ryan Anderson posted 21 points and five boards and Jameer Nelson scored 14 points on 4-for-8 shooting.

The Phoenix Suns (20-23) attempted a late comeback, but it wasn’t enough against the Philadelphia 76ers (19-25). Elton Brand had 22 points and nine rebounds, Thaddeus Young tallied 24 points, seven boards and five assists and Lou Williams chipped in 14 points and six dimes. Philadelphia shot 54.3% from the field and outrebounded Phoenix by nine. Steve Nash had 17 points and nine assists, Jared Dudley posted 23 points and seven rebounds and Grant Hill recorded 13 points and five dimes in the loss.

Rudy Gay made a 14-footer to give the Memphis Grizzlies (22-23) a dramatic victory over the Toronto Raptors (13-32) at the Air Canada Centre. Gay led with 21 points and seven rebounds, Zach Randolph posted 17 points and 12 boards and Marc Gasol added 17 points and eight rebounds. Memphis grabbed 18 offensive rebounds and held Toronto to 0-for-13 shooting from downtown. Andrea Bargnani had 29 points and five rebounds, Jerryd Bayless tallied 15 points, 11 assists and eight boards and DeMar DeRozan contributed 25 points and nine rebounds.

Amar’e Stoudemire led with 30 points and nine rebounds, Raymond Felton tallied 17 points and 15 assists and Wilson Chandler put up 25 points and seven boards. New York forced 17 turnovers and had a nine-point edge in the second half. Nick Young scored a team-high 22 points, JaVale McGee posted 15 points and 10 rebounds and John Wall stuffed the stat sheet with 18 points, nine assists and seven boards in defeat.

David West hit a fade-away with 0.5 seconds left to lead the New Orleans Hornets (30-16) to a win against the Oklahoma City Thunder (28-16). Chris Paul led with 24 points and nine assists, Emeka Okafor posted 11 points and nine rebounds and West scored 20 points on 10-for-18 shooting despite early foul trouble. Oklahoma City had a +8 rebounding differential, but turned the ball over eight more times than New Orleans. Kevin Durant had 22 points and eight rebounds, Russell Westbrook tallied 18 points and 10 assists and Jeff Green helped with 19 points and seven boards.

The Chicago Bulls (31-14) dominated the second quarter en route to a victory over the Milwaukee Bucks (16-26) at the United Center. Kurt Thomas led with 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists, Derrick Rose tallied 21 points and 10 dimes and Carlos Boozer chipped in 14 points and nine boards. Chicago shot just 39.5% from the field, but attempted 14 more foul shots than Milwaukee. Chris Douglas-Roberts exploded for 30 points on 13-for-21 shooting, Keyon Dooling posted 13 points and 10 assists and Andrew Bogut recorded eight points and 18 rebounds.

Kevin Martin scored 34 points on just 18 shots, Luis Scola posted 20 points and 12 rebounds and Kyle Lowry totaled 14 points, six boards and five assists. Minnesota hit 50.5% of their shots, but committed three more miscues than Houston. Kevin Love had 24 points and 17 rebounds, Darko Milicic tallied 15 points and six boards and Luke Ridnour added 18 points and four assists.

Sacramento hit 50% of their shots while holding Portland to 39.5% shooting. Wesley Matthews scored a team-high 21 points, Nicolas Batum posted 16 points and nine rebounds and Andre Miller put up 18 points, five boards and five assists in the loss.

San Antonio had a +10 rebounding differential and hit 50% of their shots. David Lee starred with 31 points and 12 rebounds, Stephen Curry tallied 14 points, six boards and five assists and Dorell Wright totaled 18 points, nine dimes and seven rebounds.
