Austin Rivers scored 25 points in the final regular season game of his high school career as Winter Park defeated Brooksville Nature Coast 78-36.

Rivers, who has signed with Duke, finished the regular season with a 29.5 points-per-game average.

"He helped elevate Central Florida basketball to a national level, especially the Winter Park community,'' Winter Park coach David Bailey said. "There have been a lot of great players to come through Central Florida, but when it is all said and done, 10 years from now, they might say Austin was the best.''

Winter Park is the top seed in the Class 6A, District 4 tournament.
