The NBA's All-Stars don't think adapting the NHL's new All-Star rules would work.

The NHL selected two captains and allowed them to choose their teams at the league's All-Star weekend.

"No, because Eastern Conference, Western Conference, we don’t like each other," LeBron James said when asked if the practice would work in the NBA. "We wouldn’t pick somebody from the Western Conference to be over here with us, and I don't think they would, either. I don't think it would work."

Dwyane Wade took it one step further, saying that if Kevin Garnett were a captain he wouldn't pick certain rivals.

"But K.G. would pick all of his teammates, and he wouldn’t pick any of the Heat, so it would be all messed up," Wade said with a laugh. "That might be fun."
