One group of people frequently mentioned as being especially hurt by the lockout are the workers at NBA arenas. These are the ushers, food vendors and security personnel that work a team's 41-game home schedule.

Danny Granger is inviting the workers at Conseco Fieldhouse to dinner to acknowledge their unfortunate part in the NBA's ongoing lockout.

"All the workers at our arena are invited to dinner with me in Indianapolis," wrote Granger. "Date to be announced soon.. A little #lockout gift."

Granger made nearly $11 million during the 10-11 season and was scheduled to make just over $12 million in 11-12.
