San Diego State defeated Arizona by a final score of 61-57 in Tucson. The Aztecs scored on nine of its first 11 possessions.

Despite losing four starters, San Diego State continues to build upon its 10-11 success.

“You have to believe that you’re good,” Steve Fisher said, “and our kids believe that they’re good.”

“When you go 34-3, even role players believe," said Arizona coach Sean Miller. "They’ve done a really good job from being role players to being really valuable players.”
