The Lakers are expected to be among the contingent on hand to watch Gilbert Arenas workout later this week.

"The Lakers are going to take a look at him," one of the people familiar with the matter said.

Arenas, 30, averaged 8.0 points in 49 games for the Magic last season, including two starts.
