The Los Angeles Lakers would like to speak to Roy Williams about their head coaching vacancy.

Williams declined to speak to the Lakers in 2004 one season after he left Kansas for North Carolina.

Williams won the NCAA Championship with the Tar Heels in 2005 and 2009.
