Free agent center Dexter Pittman has reached an agreement on a training camp contract with the Atlanta Hawks, league sources told RealGM.

Pittman registered two regular-season games for Atlanta last season. The 6-foot-11 big man had gone to the Chicago Bulls’ training camp, and spent most of the year in the NBA D-League with Austin.

Pittman was part of the Miami Heat's NBA championship team in 2012.

As a second round pick to the Heat in 2010 out of the University of Texas, Pittman has averaged 2.3 points and 1.8 rebounds in his four NBA seasons.
