Free agent Jeffery Taylor has agreed to a one-year contract with Euroleague contender Real Madrid, sources told RealGM.

Taylor's deal with Real Madrid is expected to be worth over $900,000, sources said. Real Madrid is the reigning Euroleague champion.

RealGM reported on Tuesday that Taylor was closing in negotiations with the Spanish club.

Taylor, the No. 31 overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft, made progress with Real Madrid over the past several days.

The 6-foot-7 Taylor averaged 4.4 points and 1.3 rebounds in 14.8 minutes per game for the Charlotte Hornets last season. Taylor has played his entire three-year career with the Hornets, with averages of 6.1 points and two rebounds

Taylor had a standout collegiate career at Vanderbilt University.
