J.B. Bickerstaff and the Memphis Grizzlies have reached agreement for him to become associate head coach.

Bickerstaff also received strong interest from the Los Angeles Lakers.

Bickerstaff became interim head coach of the Houston Rockets last November. 

The Grizzlies hired David Fizdale as head coach this offseason.
